Brokerage - September 8, 2026Bristow-Holmes Brokers Sale of Benetti Oasis 42 Metre with Long-Standing Client
Sale caps a client relationship spanning more than a decade, underscoring the trust and continuity at the heart of Bristow-Holmes’s brokerage practice
Bristow-Holmes today announced the successful sale of Hull Number 7 of the Benetti Oasis 42 Metre superyacht to a longstanding private client, marking the fifth vessel the broker and buyer have transacted together over a partnership now in its second decade.
The buyer, a highly experienced yacht owner, has worked exclusively with Harry Bristow-Holmes for more than ten years, entrusting him with the acquisition and sale of a succession of vessels as their needs and ambitions on the water have evolved. This latest transaction, for one of Benetti’s newest and most talked-about models, extends a relationship built on discretion, continuity, and an increasingly refined understanding of exactly what the client wants from a yacht.
With construction due to start in 2027 and delivery anticipated for the beginning of 2029 the client, broker and owners team will be working closely together over the next 2 1/2 years to ensure that the clients wishes are fully realised. The new 42 Metre Oasis boasts a number of changes over the incredibly successful Oasis 40 Metre. She is more than just a facelift, the 42 has been re-designed to focus on key areas where the vessel already excelled to further enhance the desirability of this incredible vessel.
The Benetti Oasis 42 Metre, the latest expression of the Italian shipyard’s Oasis series, conceived to redefine the relationship between yacht and ocean. Built in GRP, the yacht measures 42.5 metres (139’5″) in length with a maximum beam of 8.5 metres and a draft of 2.05 metres, at a full-load displacement of 295 tons. She accommodates up to 12 guests across 5 cabins, with a crew of 8–9 across a further 5 cabins, and offers a range of 4,000 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 10 knots.
Exterior lines are by RWD, interior and deck architecture by Bonetti Kozerski Architecture, and naval architecture by Pierluigi Ausonio. The Oasis 42M is distinguished by Benetti’s signature Oasis Deck®, a layout designed to dissolve the boundary between indoors and outdoors. Highlights include a panoramic main salon with 270-degree ocean views, an integrated swimming pool with a purpose-built enclosure system, and a dedicated well-being spa and fitness area positioned at the bow, set within a light-toned, organic interior designed to maximise natural luminosity throughout.
“Over more than ten years, and across five vessels now, this client has trusted us not just to find the right yacht, but to understand what they actually want from life on the water,” said Harry Bristow-Holmes of Bristow-Holmes. “That kind of relationship is rare, and it’s one we work hard to keep earning. The Oasis 42M is a remarkable yacht — Benetti has once again pushed the boundaries of indoor-outdoor living at sea — and it’s a fitting next chapter for a client who knows precisely what they’re looking for.”
The transaction was handled in its entirety by Harry Bristow-Holmes on behalf of the client whilst Roberto Corno and Matt Walford represented Benetti. A special thanks to the clients marine lawyer Alex Teji of Teji Cowie and his team for their assistance throughout the contract negotiation. The sale reflects Bristow-Holmes’s continued focus on long-term client relationships and discreet, hands-on service across every stage of a sale.
The sale represents the 4th New Build Benetti Yacht commissioned by clients of Harry Bristow-Holmes, To learn more about the new Oasis 42 Metre Yacht please do not hesitate to contact Harry Bristow-Holmes of Bristow-Holmes.
