Sunseeker recently debuted their new 76 Yacht at the 2017 Southampton Boat Show. This model allows for an almost 360 view of your surroundings from the main deck with large expanses of glass throughout with an optional retractable skylight over the interior helm. However, this boat’s real appeal is the exquisite sun lounging area on the foredeck, taken from a much larger model, and made possible due to the 76’s extra width.
She has 25% more deck space than the previous 75 and her exterior decks provide large levels of space which can be customised and adapted for the customer. The flybridge has the options of additional sunbeds, a jaccuzi, or further storage for a jet ski, whilst the cockpit offers the customisation of a cocktail bar and seating, allowing you to optimise use of space onboard. An impressive stern is equipped for an additional mini beach club, complete with rain shower, fold out bbq and extended bathing platform, making it a perfect use of space for entertaining.

But is there a need or more importantly a desire for another 70ft flybridge design? In the last 10 years we’ve seen 4 new Sunseeker 70ft flybridge yachts. Whilst it’s keeping Sunseeker ahead of the times with new modern design features such as those stated above, it is certainly hitting pre-owned values hard, as previous models are becoming quickly outdated. Fantastic from a buyers point of view, but tricky when it comes to sell these 70ft Sunseekers.
Bristow-Holmes have just reduced the price on the 2013 73 Manhattan “CHRISTELLA” to €1,795,000 VAT Paid. A steal for such a well maintained yacht and perhaps a sign of Sunseekers over development of this size in yacht . Whilst there are many differences in design between the 73 Manhattan and the new 76 Yacht are customers really willing to pay almost double for this updated vessel which is expected to come to market at approximately €3,500,000 VAT paid.
